'Chak De' on 61st Independence Day....

15th Aug'07, i couldnt have got a better day than the Independence Day to watch this movie, for the first time i was excited about the movie not because of SRK but because of the theme 'patriotism'. Movie was simply awesome, it was nice to see SRK coming up nicely in character roles now and after Swades this was another cult performance by the genius. When i was watching the movie, i was able to connect myself to it. All my stadium days when i used to wake up early morning at 5am for cricket and used to sweat badly without rest were again fresh in my mind and i was touched by some of the incidents in the movie though i knew that at the end of the day it was just a movie. Those days when i used to be mad about cricket, i had just one passion, one goal, one objective in my mind and that was victory, immaterial of the relationship i used to share with my team mates, on ground what mattered to me was the opposition and how to strategize in order to have upper hand since the very first ball, how to attack the minds of the opponents, all these were so much related to few incidents in the movie that my entire cricket life was infront of me. Also i have played cricket at lot of places School, BIT College Cricket Team, Huawei and have also won everywhere but the enthusiasm, the Team spirit i have seen in my team at SP Jain was another examle of why the course and especially the batch of which i am part of i.e PGDSM MIT 03 is the best and will always be the best....and sitting there i was just thinking that i will miss my batch and even SP Jain will never have a batch like ours again...
