How I Managed to Catch my Train.... Must Read !!

It was 31st May, Saturday and i had my train at 6:50 am in the morning from New Delhi Railway Station. I stay in Gurgaon from where it takes around 40 min to reach New Delhi Railway station on a traffic free road. Also my flat mate had the flight at 7:30 am so we decided to leave together and we started at 6:12am. As soon as you start from my house there is a service lane next to NH 8 which is one way, i asked him to drive in the opposite direction helping us save some 8-10 min. Then we asked him why he is not driving at 100+ on NH8, he replied that AC takes some power and car wont het that pick up, immediately me and my flat mate responded switch off the AC and roll down the windows, then in order to clarify where to go he asked us where should i go first, we told him our respective timings and he replied that New Delhi Railway station by 6:5o is not possible and i got mad, i told him why are you saying this, this is your job you should be saying that you'll take us and he said that this is the fact, then i replied that fine ill take you... when we took a left turn for Delhi Airport, for those who are familiar with Delhi, there is a circle after which there is a right turn for Airport which is generally crowded and it takes 10 - 15 min to cross that place, i requested my friend to please get down at the circle and asked taxi guy to take a U Turn and start for New Delhi Station, after 5 min i asked him is it possible now and he replied that now it could be possible and then Delhi where you cannot even dare to think of breaking signals and crossing speed limits, he broke all the signals and speed at 100 and i finally managed to reach Station at 6:47, luckily Shatabdi comes at Platform 12 and hence i boarded at 6:49 and 6:50 sharp it started, it was a trip to remember and from the mode of missing train to the happiness of catching a train, it was a bag of mixed emotions with fast heart beats and ill always remember this....

Jodha Akbar... Simply Amazing... Wrote Long time back, sharing now...

Another awesome piece of work by Ashutosh Gowariker after the much talked about Lagaan and Swades, i saw the movie yesterday i.e. on 17th Feb. The movie started pretty late around 10:30 PM
and being a Saturday evening there was good crowd. Though the movie is pretty long i.e. 3 hours 40 minutes but i must say you do not feel like looking at your watch. The direction is simply mind blowing, not even once will you feel that the movie is shot in current times, in fact in terms of direction
i find not much of a difference between LOTR and Jodha Akbar. The way war scenes are shown, its commendable on the part of an Indian director to show in such a manner and the romantic scenes are no doubt superb, overall i had a great experience a i am happy that i saw a movie which is so well made.
